Welcome to our first monthly RHA Faculty Newsletter.

Each month, we will share updates on what is new with RHA Education, upcoming teaching opportunities, faculty program updates, and important reminders for current and prospective RHA Faculty Members.

Who Should Be an RHA Faculty Member?

RHA Faculty Members are individuals who would like to teach RHA classes, serve on education panels, or support RHA’s training programs.

How Do I Become an RHA Faculty Member?

To become an RHA Faculty Member, you must complete the 2-hour Faculty Training and sign the RHA Faculty Member Agreement.

Next Faculty Training

The next Faculty Training will be held:

Tuesday September 29th, 2026 @9:00 am 

24-Hour Property Management Curriculum Update

RHA’s Curriculum Development Task Force has been meeting regularly and has made great progress on the new 24-hour Property Management Licensing curriculum.

Key points:

• RHA plans to submit the curriculum proposal to the Division of Real Estate for approval on May 31.
• The curriculum will include 12 two-hour modules.
• RHA Faculty Members will be needed to teach the approved modules.

Next Faculty Training: June 10

If you still need to complete Faculty Training, or know someone who does, please plan to attend the June 10 training.

Even if you have previously completed Faculty Training, you may want to attend this session. We will be sharing significant updates to the faculty program, including information about what will be required to teach the new 24-hour Property Management Licensing training.

Make Sure You Have Completed All Steps to Become RHA Faculty

Please review your faculty status and make sure you have completed all required steps, including Faculty Training and the Faculty Member Agreement.

Compensation Policy

When RHA charges for a class, instructors will be paid $50 per credit hour for teaching. When a meeting or class is offered at no cost, instructors will not be compensated.

RHA will continue to share upcoming opportunities for Faculty Members to teach classes, serve on panels, and participate in educational programming.
