Jayson Peterson is owner and broker of Brim Properties and the 2023 NARPM Utah Chapter Conference Chair.

Jason will present historical perspective on the Utah Property Management Industry as well as demographic and make up information on rental unit inventory and other interesting information that will provide context for property management in Utah.

Paul Smith is Executive Director of the NARPM Utah Chapter and the Rental Housing Association.

Paul will discuss first qualified applicant rule, Fair Housing in the screening and application process, complying with Fit Premises requirements regarding application fees, walk-through inspections, required expense disclosures and more.

Ryan Froerer is broker/owner of ResCom Residential and the 2024 Board Chair of the Rental Housing Association.

Ryan will discuss best practices in inspection, management, compliance renter compliance and more with a focus on the renter management process.

Jeremiah Maughan is an owner and the broker of Vision Real Estate in Utah County.

Jeremiah will discuss best practices in client and customer communication including transparency and full disclosure in management contracts and leases to reduce misunderstandings and conflict.
